Do I have to come back?

This weekend, Ben, Meredith and I went to Gulf Shores. It was really nice. I enjoy the beach but I am not one of these people who have to spend five days sitting there doing nothing. We went to see Pirates of the Carribean Friday night (and we had lunch at my favorite beach resturant Lulu's!). Then on Saturday, of course, a full day at the beach. Meredith and Ben stayed in the water most of the time while I took refuge under the umbrella with my SPF 30 for my arms and SPF 45 for my face. I had a visor, a good book, and bottled water. Meredith and Ben got a little burnt...I did not. Imagine that. Saturday night we got some good seafood and then went to the outlets. They have a Lane Bryant outlet so I did a little shopping. But not too much. Promise.

Yesterday afternoon, we had a baby shower at church for little Hannah. By the way, she has got to be one of the best dressed babies EVER. I have never seen so many baby clothes unless it was in a store. It was really neat though. I think they got a lot of good stuff.

My mom is doing much better. She sounded good last night and actually called me for a change. It is good to hear her sounding more like herself. Thanks to all of you who asked about her and I am sure there were many prayers said on her behalf.

Well, I have to go. We have two people out of the office today and I have four interviews to do this morning as well. I hate interviewing people. You never really know what you are getting until you work with them for a while and then it might be too late! See ya!

Sorry you had to come back from the beach, but I am glad you made it back in time for our shower. Thanks for all you did! I just read Emily's blog and maybe you will be next. Since you had such a great time buying gifts for Hannah, imagine how great it would be to buy for you own kids!
Have fun at work today!!!

Uh, no, not really. Ben, Sr. is quite enough at this moment, thanks.

Glad you had fun at the beach! I'll be there next weekend. Yes, it was fun buying Hannah stuff. It's always fun buying things for babies, especially a friends baby.

Went to the LB outlet at Watermark- what a downer. I believe I could have gone to the regular store and found better sales. Don't waste your time unless they mark stuff way down.

I'm glad that the three of you were able to go to the beach, especially since our trip fell through. Hopefully, we'll be able to reschedule.
