Bumps and Bruises of the Elderly
I just celebrated the big 3-0 (which I have SO much to blog about) but suffice it to say it was a great birthday. Of course in my advanced age, the body isn't what it once was. I took a nasty little fall on Monday and hurt my shoulder. I had been looking for a reason to make one of the buckwheat pillows that you put in the microwave and this gave me an excuse. Using some fabric I had bought for another project, I made me one tonight. I actually used rice instead (much cheaper option and works well according to internet research) and it seems to be working pretty well. The ole' shoulder is on the mend!

Need a walker?
I'm glad you have such a good birthday.
I have a heat bag and it's wonderful. I love it!
Happy to know that you had a great bday! Sorry about your fall...I do love the heat bag though - I wish I had half of your talent!
Did you add cloves to the rice? I just saw one and it smelled so good.
I was in a hurry on this one but that is a good idea. I need to keep that in mind.
