Motivation

While at my mom and dad's this weekend, I found the blogspot address for a family member of mine, Jenny. I haven't seen her in forever. Needless to say, we have both changed A LOT in the last several years. She has two little boys and I have my one child (Ben...ha ha! Don't tell him I said that).

As many of you know, I am doing the Walk for the Cure again this year. Jenny had a close friend who was 31 years old and had three children. She lost her fight with breast cancer just a couple of weeks ago. Sometimes I wonder why this cause means so much to me and I think it is because I realize that it could be me. I am only 28 years old. I joke about being old but I know there is so much I want to do. Cancer could strike any of us, family and friends and I like feeling like I am fighting it if nothing else. When you get a chance check out Melinda's website.

And as always, if you want to walk with us or donate, anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again!

I'm thinking about joining the team, but I am still not sure.

Come on Emily. Join! Give in to peer pressure. You know you want to. All the cool kids are doing it. It is only a couple of hours on one Saturday. It is for a good cause.
