The Greatest Show on Earth!

Last night we went to the circus with our friends Kim, Paul and their two kids. We had the best time. I was a little disappointed that there were no tigers but the baby elephant and all the excitement more than made up for it! However, leave it to us to find our own entertainment before we even got to the circus. Anybody who knows my husband knows that he has this thing about PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). If you want to hear him get going on a good rant and rave, bring up Pamela Anderson and KFC. Oh my. Anyway, when we got ready to cross the street to get into the circus, of course, you have your standard group of protesters, saying it was the "cruelest show on earth." (By the way, you have never seen such a group of happy looking WELL FED animals). So, I told Ben, "don't say a word, just be quiet, don't start anything." Oh no. As we are walking in the midst of them, he says, "Why don't ya'll buy a ticket and come in and watch the show?" Oh me. Why me? Thankfully, I don't really think they heard him. But he just couldn't resist, could he? Overall, we had a great time and I took a few pictures so maybe I will have a few to put on here later.
