I'm back!

I have been absent from my blog and I apologize. We have had a lot going on here. Last Wednesday, Ben and I bought a car. It is a 2003 Kia Sorrento. It is dark Gray. I like it but it is taking some getting used to. I had grown accustomed to never having had a car payment. EVER. We had a busy weekend. Ben's cousin had a baby and so that was the talk of the weekend. Of course, everyone kept telling us "Now you have bigger car, you need to have a baby!" AHHHHHH! Have you people lost your mind! Anyway, then Sunday, we went to the Botanical Gardens and walked around. It was so pretty. I have never been there but it was pretty. I can't imagine how beautiful it will be during late spring and the summer. I am going to have to take my mom. Surprisingly, I really enjoyed the Japanese Gardens. I thought it would be too modern for my taste but it was very peaceful. I told Ben I thought I might like to visit Japan sometime. I would like to take some pictures of the two of us this summer sometime. Maybe while my sister is here, she could take some. She does a good job.

I have started a new book (I am trying to keep the "Currently Reading" column updated) and I am going to do a small book review on each book I read. I LOVE to read and I just thought this would be a break for my regular blog entries. I will try to get that up soon.

Will you post a tribute to your old car?

Hmmm, maybe I will. I will put a little something on there before it is towed away. How sad!

Have you read any of Karen Kingsbury's books? They are great!
