Yippee!

Tonight was the big day...time to weigh. Whoo Hoo! I lost 2lbs which put me a little over 11. I am so excited. My first goal I set myself was to lose 10 lbs so now I am on to the second goal of 20. I am really trying to take this one small step at a time. So far, it is working. I just want to stick with it this time.

I am so sleepy right now I am about to pass out. I am waiting on some stupid clothes to dry.I don't like going to bed with the dryer running...it makes me nervous. Silly I know. Of course, if I had done what I should have earlier tonight I wouldn't be sitting here at 11:15pm waiting for my clothes to dry.

Nothing really interesting happened today. It was the same ole same ole. Some how, my to-do list always grows but I don't really feel like I get anything acomplished. Today I think I marked one big thing off my list and that was HUGE. Anyway that's about it. Thrilling, I know. By the way, let me take this chance to mention just how much I love Norah Jones. I am listening to her CD right now and it never gets old. I guess I owe a big thanks to Jenn Lashley...well, she isn't a Lashley anymore. She introduced me to Norah Jones. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Rachel,
Congrats on the weight loss. I can tell you from my vast experience in loosing and gaining, that WW is the most sensible plan around.
This pie is to die for!

LOW CALORIE STRAWBERRY PIE

1 (9 inch) graham cracker crust
4 c. strawberries, cut in 1/4's
2 c. water
1 sm. pkg. sugar-free vanilla pudding
1 sm. pkg. sugar-free strawberry Jello

Cook the pudding using the 2 cups water. Take off the burner as soon as it comes to a boil. Add the Jello. Pour the mixture over the strawberries. Put that into the crust. Top with cool whip or whipped topping

Sounds Great! I will certainly have to try that...soon! I really do think this is something I can stick with so far. I just have to get used to a new mindset!

The recent weight loss of you and Kim is motivating me to get back on my program. Dr. Phil had a good weight loss program today.
